Are there any free Government Grants that are legitiment?

i’m trying to get a loan that i dont have to pay back for college and some money to pay some bills. Also I need some money to open a business and some things i would like to do.
You may be able to find grants for school, but I doubt many people are getting grants to pay off bills unless they have to do with natural disasters or major medical bills. Here is more info. http://www.ehow.com/how_2223269_easily-apply-government-grants.html

yes they’re for real. but don’t pay for an application or how to apply. contact your bank to get an advice on how to go about this. I believe this is the best way because i got riped of one time; some agency made me pay them for some grant booklet which didn’t even help me like i expected it to…. stay away from scams which tell you you’re guaranteed to get $5000.00!

There are tons of free government grants that are legit.
The ones for college are the Pell grant and the FSEOG. You have to pretty much be below the poverty level to qualify for these.
As for opening a business, there are grants as well. Make sure you do not pay to find these grants because you can find out all the information for free.
